The Scarsdale Diet Offers Excellent Alternatives

I literally stood in amazement when reading the informational recipes in the Scarsdale Diet because the foods that I thought I loved were unhealthy and the substitutions were even more delicious and very healthy! I would often enjoy a slice of homemade apple pie and knew it was incredibly bad for my health. I'd eat it often with a scoop of my favorite ice cream while absorbing many fattening calories and throwing my blood sugar all over the place. Today I ask myself frequently why exactly I engaged in such erogenous and poor eating habits! The Scarsdale Diet had a recipe for raw apple pie that was wondrously delicious and I loved the flavor so much more than cooked apple pie! When I coupled that with a special homemade ice cream recipe provided in the diet plan, I was enjoying a dessert that was fantastic and extremely good for my health.

 

As you can see regular apple pie wrecked havoc on my body and caused me to be obese. I didn't understand the concept of how carbohydrates broke down within my body before I read the Scarsdale Diet. It was very interesting to acquire the knowledge that different types of carbohydrates digest differently and are burned by my metabolism in different ways.

You must avoid certain foods on the Scarsdale Diet.

 

With the results that I achieved by using the Scarsdale Diet plan, I have found the "new me". I enjoy eating treats such as pie still, but I simply just choose to eat a more healthy and delicious version of it. You really can't go wrong if you are a dessert lover like I am because there are so many healthy choices in this diet.
