When a person is practicing the unhealthy habits of junk food addiction, they do not understand the vast negative consequences of degenerative health issues that can come from it. There are an incredible amount of preservatives, salt, sugars, and other chemicals that are used in junk food that will cause and incredible detriment to your energy as well. Your metabolism will slow down (the metabolic conversion of calories will not be as high) which will cause the calories to begin to be stored as fat. Of course the result of this would be weight gain, fatigue, and lack of energy. The Scarsdale Diet Eliminates the Cravings!When I began my wonderful weight loss on the Scarsdale Diet plan, I remember the times when I would nearly be drooling waiting for the pizza delivery guy! There were times upon the purchase of fast food that my hand ended up in the bag, to sample over half the fries before I returned home! When I started the diet I was really in a vexing paradigm because I was able to substitute this junk food for really healthy nutritious food and lose weight at the same time. At first the results were very strange, as my body was undergoing a detoxification process as the preservatives, chemicals, and other addictive ingredients to fast food were leaving my body. The Scarsdale Diet provided such wonderful recipes however, that when I felt junk food cravings, I would simply eat a healthy alternative that was incredibly delicious. The ironic thing is, the healthy food actually tasted better! It was inconceivable to me that foods which were so healthy and nutritious could actually taste so much better. I always thought of health foods as inferior in taste to processed junk food. Not anymore! The Scarsdale Diet plan really showed me the correct way to make savory foods. |
